FAQ’s

wallPen equipment
  • The wallPen is a mobile commercial UV inkjet printer capable of printing directly onto almost any vertical surface.

  • We use a specially formulated UV ink that hardens immediately under the integrated UV curing lamps and can be used on almost all substrates. Thus, plaster, wallpaper, wood, brick, concrete, stone, clinker, plastic, metal, glass, most tiles and many other materials can be printed on with ease.

  • One Person, one tool, twelve screws and only 5 minutes is all it takes to assemble the wallPen. Once completed you simply align the wallPen to the wall, load the image to be printed and start the printing process.

  • Print quality and resolution settings are two major factors impacting print speed. The wallPen can print at speeds from 2 to 16 square meters per hour.

  • The wallPen supports print resolutions between 300 and 1200 dpi.

As a rule, most images are rasterized and printed at 600 x 720 dpi. 600 dpi on the wall is already stunning in real terms, especially since wall prints are usually large motifs and are always viewed from a distance.
